Newark lockdown ends, Baraka snaps back at critics
The 10-day lockdown put in place by Newark Mayor Ras Baraka is scheduled to end Friday. It asked residents to stay at home starting the day before Thanksgiving to help slow the spread of the virus. COVID-19 has been ravaging the state’s largest city, as of Friday, nearly 17,000 cases there. Baraka is calling out anyone who criticized his aggressive actions.
