Pastor Fred Fryer and his wife Kathy tell a harrowing story of being trapped in their home, water rushing in so quickly, by the time they realized they should get out, it was too late. They called 911 four times, they secured their pets atop multiple chairs that they stacked on their dining room table. In a total blackout, they stood waiting in rising cold water, for 7 hours, before being rescued.
